Lucian Baldovinescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Virgil Curteanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Universitatea cluj's Lucian Baldovinescu in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to FC DACIA BRĂILA getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Avram Voica hit a great ball. Iustin Niță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Virgil Curteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Iustin Niță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Virgil Curteanu. The goal made the score 6-0. Virgil Curteanu stood somewhat misplaced when Lucian Baldovinescu came free in front of goal and shot 7-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Iustin Niță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC DACIA BRĂILA's Virgil Curteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Iustin Niță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Virgil Curteanu. The goal made the score 8-0.

Universitatea cluj made a substitution. Cristi Bădila replaced Lucian Baldovinescu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avram Voica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Virgil Curteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 程泉延's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. FC DACIA BRĂILA's Virgil Curteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曲康卫 in the 57th minute of play. Virgil Curteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 程泉延, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 程泉延 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Curteanu having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Universitatea cluj's Ionel Trifu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Curteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. There was no doubt that Universitatea cluj were the better team. Universitatea cluj's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
