The audience was convinced that Emil Opaina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviu Lung was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Opaina in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Super Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Mincu came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Emil Opaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Mincu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Basarab Măliță kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustinian Pană made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Super Troopers's Iustinian Pană sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristide Deleanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Elian in the 64th minute of play forced Intorsura FC's goalkeeper Aristide Deleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Super Troopers's Silviu Lung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Super Troopers from getting a goal against them. Calistrat Mincu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Emil Opaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intorsura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Opaina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustinian Pană sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute of the match, Ivan Ghionea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silviu Lung saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Super Troopers's Silviu Lung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Super Troopers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Mincu in the 85th minute of play forced Super Troopers's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Super Troopers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Măliță to maneuver through the defense. The Intorsura FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Intorsura FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
