Mugur Răduțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11thth minute of the game Díaz Tejerina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unirea Castelul Nou's Herbert Wierzchowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mantvydas Mackevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Marcucci in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bastiaan Moorlag in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mantvydas Mackevičius saved Dinamo Botosani-BTF from getting behind. Mantvydas Mackevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastiaan Moorlag in the 19th minute of the match. Dan Ploieșteanu struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Mantvydas Mackevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unirea Castelul Nou. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Herbert Wierzchowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Dinamo Botosani-BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Bastiaan Moorlag came free, but Mantvydas Mackevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mantvydas Mackevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastiaan Moorlag in the 40th minute of play. If Adrian Cernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bastiaan Moorlag in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mantvydas Mackevičius saved Dinamo Botosani-BTF from getting behind. 44 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Unirea Castelul Nou's Bastiaan Moorlag fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.

Díaz Tejerina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wierzchowski having to interfere. Herbert Wierzchowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Başer in the 57th minute of play. Adrian Cernat kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 59thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Dinamo Botosani-BTF's keeper Mantvydas Mackevičius was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Bastiaan Moorlag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mantvydas Mackevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unirea Castelul Nou's Remus Preda was substituted for Edgardo Peyo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bastiaan Moorlag got free with Mantvydas Mackevičius in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Wierzchowski came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Botosani-BTF's Díaz Tejerina. But to his dismay, Díaz Tejerina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 80 minutes into the game, Adrian Cernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mantvydas Mackevičius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herbert Wierzchowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Díaz Tejerina in the 83rd minute of the match. Remus Preda hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Díaz Tejerina in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Wierzchowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Dinamo Botosani-BTF's Alfred Magdziarz in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unirea Castelul Nou's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Alfred Magdziarz sped through Unirea Castelul Nou's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herbert Wierzchowski. When Bastiaan Moorlag came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Unirea Castelul Nou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastiaan Moorlag couldn't finish the play. Bastiaan Moorlag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mantvydas Mackevičius having to interfere. The supporters of Dinamo Botosani-BTF booed when Unirea Castelul Nou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaan Moorlag didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dinamo Botosani-BTF were victorious despite being under pressure from Unirea Castelul Nou for much of the match.
