The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 16 minutes, Lucian Negulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Valeni 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Negulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Cezar Moarcăș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Ţugui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vintilă Olariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Neghină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29thth minute of the game Costin Dobrica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antonesti CSS's Cătălin Gâgea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costin Dobrica's late challenge caught a Antonesti CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Dobrica helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C. Valeni 04 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Costin Dobrica hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Luca Ţugui got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vintilă Olariu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vintilă Olariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Ţugui in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Claudiu Itu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Gâgea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Costin Dobrica notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Antonesti CSS's Cătălin Gâgea. Cătălin Gâgea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. F.C. Valeni 04's Vintilă Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Neghină in the 45th minute of play. Vintilă Olariu made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Luca Ţugui sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cezar Moarcăș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vintilă Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, F.C. Valeni 04's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Neghină came free, but Vintilă Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeni 04's Marin Augustin got a free kick in the 75th minute. Vintilă Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Luca Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Humă kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Antonesti CSS's Cătălin Gâgea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Augustin in the 86th minute of play. Cezar Moarcăș kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Antonesti CSS's zone, Lucian Negulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Gâgea came out of the goal and Lucian Negulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vintilă Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Antonesti CSS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
