The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Mascovescu got free with Augustin Bălăiță in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, David Mascovescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Augustin Bălăiță to make any attempt to save it. Iustin Tătaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Augustin Bălăiță made a huge save. Augustin Bălăiță was a little too slow when Iustin Tătaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Olo in the 22nd minute of play forced JUVENTUS TORINO's goalkeeper Ernest Ghiciușca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Sterescu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Ghiciușca saved JUVENTUS TORINO from getting behind. The supporters of Gzpn Timisoara booed when JUVENTUS TORINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Mascovescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper Augustin Bălăiță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gzpn Timisoara's zone, David Mascovescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Bălăiță came out of the goal and David Mascovescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Gzpn Timisoara's Fernando Olo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernest Ghiciușca. Ernest Ghiciușca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-6. A collision led to Gzpn Timisoara getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Radomil Witkowski hit a great ball. When the match was over Gzpn Timisoara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JUVENTUS TORINO throughout the match.
