With a little luck, POLI TM's Allan Lumi got control of the ball when Iustin Tătaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes POLI TM got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Encea. 12 minutes into the match, POLI TM's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Alecu came free, but Allan Lumi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Mascovescus short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Allan Lumi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute JUVENTUS TORINO were awarded a corner. Petre Alecu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to JUVENTUS TORINO's Constantin Acalinei getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by David Mascovescu from a close distance when the talented Allan Lumi managed to make a qualified save. POLI TM's players were relieved. The corner ended in Petre Alecu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but POLI TM's Allan Lumi did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in JUVENTUS TORINO's zone, Alkın Yaren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Ghiciușca came out of the goal and Alkın Yaren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Mascovescus short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Allan Lumi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alkın Yaren in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Ghiciușca saved JUVENTUS TORINO from getting behind. In the 29th minute, David Mascovescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUVENTUS TORINO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ernest Ghiciușca came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by POLI TM's Alkın Yaren. But to his dismay, Alkın Yaren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Tătaru got free with Allan Lumi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Lumi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Mascovescu in the 48th minute of the match. The JUVENTUS TORINO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. POLI TM were winning 1-2.

JUVENTUS TORINO's Ernest Ghiciușca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkın Yaren in the 52nd minute of play. Allan Lumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Mascovescu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. David Mascovescu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Allan Lumi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVENTUS TORINO. Cristinel Geoană charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristinel Geoană the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes JUVENTUS TORINO got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Geoană. Allan Lumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Mascovescu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Allan Lumi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Mascovescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iustin Tătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led to JUVENTUS TORINO's Cristinel Geoană getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, David Mascovescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUVENTUS TORINO's supporters rose to their feet, but David Mascovescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Lumi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, David Mascovescu put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Allan Lumi. During the 86th minute of the match Cristinel Geoană completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristinel Geoană a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of JUVENTUS TORINO booed when POLI TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Popete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustin Tătaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Allan Lumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Tătaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, JUVENTUS TORINO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
