Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Tănăsocă in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Ghiciușca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Iustin Tătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucian Savu's late challenge caught a Vama Veche ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Savu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Lucian Savu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Ghiciușca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the game, Cristinel Geoană was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JUVENTUS TORINO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vama Veche ™ the free kick. After 43 played minutes JUVENTUS TORINO got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Geoană. Sebastian Isărescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Mascovescu in the 45th minute of the match. Daniel Tănăsocă scored 3-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Ghiciușca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when David Mascovescu made the kick off in the second half. Petre Alecu took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Isărescu. Sebastian Isărescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. But to his dismay, Iustin Tătaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. David Mascovescu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in JUVENTUS TORINO's zone, Daniel Tănăsocă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Ghiciușca came out of the goal and Daniel Tănăsocă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
