Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) FC Barcelona's Aron Sandu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Dinamo Soimu got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Grădinaru. 6 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Lidman came free, but Doru Opaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Kungla in the 7th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Doru Opaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Horia Poplăcean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Visarion in the 14th minute of play. Doru Opaina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Lidman in the 15th minute of the match. Doru Opaina made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when August Kungla sent off a good shot on target. Dinamo Soimu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Barbosu in the 20th minute. The corner led Dinamo Soimu's Daniel Barbosu to fire away a dangerous shot which Doru Opaina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Horea Udrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If August Kungla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Xanti Gatnau came free, but Doru Opaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xanti Gatnau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Doru Opaina came out and tried to block the shot, but Xanti Gatnau slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. Horia Poplăcean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Visarion, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. FC Barcelona's Doru Opaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xanti Gatnau in the 36th minute of play. FC Barcelona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Egil Lidman scored to the left of an out of position Doru Opaina, making the score, 3-0. Virgil Visarion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Udrea got free with Doru Opaina in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horia Poplăcean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Visarion in the 46th minute of the match. FC Barcelona were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Dinamo Soimu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Buculeasa took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Barcelona's corner Martin Buculeasa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Horia Poplăcean quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xanti Gatnau made a kick off. Doru Opaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Kungla, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Horea Udrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Doru Opaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Gheorghe Cucu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. August Kungla scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doru Opaina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Visarion in the 64th minute of play forced Dinamo Soimu's goalkeeper Horia Poplăcean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Dinamo Soimu's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Oro came free, but Horia Poplăcean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doru Opaina came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Soimu's Egil Lidman. But to his dismay, Egil Lidman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 70 played minutes Dinamo Soimu got a freekick which was hit by Egil Lidman. FC Barcelona's Doru Opaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xanti Gatnau in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Dinamo Soimu were awarded a corner. Daniel Barbosu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Barbosu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Barcelona's Doru Opaina did a great save. Doru Opaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Udrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Horea Udrea notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FC Barcelona's Doru Opaina. Doru Opaina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Lidman came free, but Doru Opaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Egil Lidman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Doru Opaina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aron Sandu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Horia Poplăcean when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Egil Lidman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Opaina was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 93rd minute Xanti Gatnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Opaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doru Opaina came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Soimu's Xanti Gatnau. But to his dismay, Xanti Gatnau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Dinamo Soimu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
