The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Goanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Ghionea didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Adam Negrilă got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zilar Gavilanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Secoşan was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15thth minute of the game Zilar Gavilanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cosula-BTF-'s Basarab Secoşan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Goanta FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sever Mihuleac hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andrei Oargă sped through FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basarab Secoşan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrei Oargă in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basarab Secoşan saved FC Cosula-BTF- from getting behind. With a little luck, Goanta FC's Kayhan Erez got control of the ball when Bogdan Paveliuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costin Ailioaiei kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Andrei Oargă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Secoşan was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After the first half Goanta FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costin Ailioaiei made a kick off. Basarab Secoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Romeo Jakobe struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Basarab Secoşan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goanta FC. In the 54th minute Bogdan Paveliuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayhan Erez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Lăceanu to maneuver through the defense. Goanta FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after FC Cosula-BTF-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amir Finkenrath took the corner. The corner led Goanta FC's Amir Finkenrath to fire away a dangerous shot which Basarab Secoşan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute, Bogdan Paveliuc made a precise shot to the right of Kayhan Erez. Goanta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Zilar Gavilanes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Goanta FC's Andrei Oargă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Romeo Jakobe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basarab Secoşan came out and tried to block the shot, but Romeo Jakobe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 79th minute. Goanta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amir Finkenrath in the 83rd minute. The corner led to Goanta FC's Andrei Oargă getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Goanta FC's Zilar Gavilanes got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Lăceanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Amir Finkenrath shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basarab Secoşan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Bogdan Paveliuc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5.
