In the 8th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Piersic to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Gheorghiță in the 11th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel got control of the ball when Manuel Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrei Pavel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Manuel Marques sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Gheorghiță in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Pavel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrei Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Marques in the 27th minute. If Bernard Bockelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Manuel Marques in the 30thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Andrei Pavel had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The throw-in from Cornel Ştefulescu in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Fanaticii's Eric Apostu. After some careless play in the Cimpina AS defense, Mihai Măliță kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Vidal. The Cimpina AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Vidal should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Gică Curcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Teodor Gheorghiță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cimpina AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodor Gheorghiță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Pavel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bernard Bockelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. Cimpina AS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
