UFC Sarlotenburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fanaticii the free kick. Nae Stratulat kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nicolae Măgureanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andrei Pavel firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Măgureanu got free with Andrei Pavel in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Apostu was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 33rd minute, Eric Apostu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Baniu came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Liviu Visarion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fanaticii and the UFC Sarlotenburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Visarion. After 40 minutes FC Fanaticii's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robin Malmgren who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nicolae Măgureanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Baniu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Maxim Magheran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Baniu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Pavel saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Măgureanu in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Alin Piersic got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Nicolae Măgureanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicolae Măgureanu got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Andrei Pavel was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, UFC Sarlotenburg's Ernest Drogoreanu got control of the ball when Florin Pruneda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Florin Pruneda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Alin Baniu made a precise shot to the right of Andrei Pavel. FC Fanaticii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 88th minute, Lucian Zafiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florin Pruneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alin Baniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UFC Sarlotenburg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
