Ovidiu Marin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Dumitrescu came free, but Ovidiu Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilie Dumitrescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Dumitrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Dorin Nebunu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 顾云弘, 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Dacian Vuşcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Petruț Florean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
