Spectators: 8401 (Terracing: 6301, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petruț Boaru started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Viola Invest's zone, Eduard Hristea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumitru Doloman came out of the goal and Eduard Hristea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Kuuno Tälli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Bran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 15th minute of play forced CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Toader Bran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Boaru came free, but Dumitru Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, CRAIOVA JUNIOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Caramarin to maneuver through the defense. Kuuno Tälli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Bran having to interfere. After 24 played minutes CRAIOVA JUNIOR got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Boboc. Eduard Hristea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Hristea in the 29th minute of the match. The corner ended in Petruț Boaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman did a great save. Dacian Ciolofan's late challenge caught a Viola Invest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Ciolofan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Dacian Ciolofan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Kuuno Tälli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toader Bran came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuuno Tälli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Bran having to interfere. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by CRAIOVA JUNIOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oscar Colon was slow to take the kick. During this time Viola Invest's players had a chance to rest. Viola Invest's Oscar Colon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Toader Bran in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Hristea came free, but Dumitru Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Kuuno Tälli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Toader Bran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Bran having to interfere. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Toader Bran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuuno Tälli in the 58th minute of play. After 71 minutes Viola Invest's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petruț Boaru who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on CRAIOVA JUNIOR's corner Petruț Boaru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dumitru Doloman quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th match minute, CRAIOVA JUNIOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Boboc to maneuver through the defense. CRAIOVA JUNIOR made a substitution. Traian Măgureanu replaced Mihail Agârbiceanu. In the 77th minute, Eduard Boboc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toader Bran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuuno Tälli, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Pâslaru got free with Dumitru Doloman in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Kuuno Tälli came free, but Toader Bran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sever Pâslaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dumitru Doloman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Petre Caramarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dumitru Doloman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's Stig-Åke Gabrielsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toader Bran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dumitru Doloman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sever Pâslaru in the 95th minute.
