In the 11th minute Zafer Fırat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Tinu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Ghiorman made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Wu Cheng De sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Şerbănescu got free with Nicolae Ghiorman in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidiu Şerbănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nicolae Ghiorman made a huge save. Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Şerbănescu in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Wu Cheng De ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolae Ghiorman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Zafer Fırat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romos FC's Toader Tinu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Tănăsie in the 45th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wu Cheng De stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolae Ghiorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Cheng De in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Romos FC's Toader Tinu got control of the ball when Wictor Brovall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wictor Brovalls short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Toader Tinu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute Ovidiu Şerbănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Şerbănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Max Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Romos FC's Toader Tinu got control of the ball when Wictor Brovall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Işıkalp Yerhum was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Işıkalp Yerhum kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Nicolae Ghiorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Şerbănescu in the 89th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Ovidiu Şerbănescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Şerbănescu in the 94th minute of play. Poli AEK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Romos FC to leave the ground with a draw.
