With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Shearer in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchazadec Terron saved FC Internazionale from getting behind. If Ciprian Alexe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when FC Internazionale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Romoşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Matei Călin made the kick off in the second half. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Popovici in the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Cornel Popovici notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar. Nistor Maghiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minerul Baita -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Internazionale.
