Spectators: 8410 (Terracing: 6308, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 168) Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Poli AEK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zafer Fırat in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Washington Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Chen Xiao Yan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli AEK's protests and gave Chen Xiao Yan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AS Florilor - BV booed when Poli AEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chen Xiao Yan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman got control of the ball when Vydas Budrys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolae Ghiorman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vydas Budrys went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes AS Florilor - BV got a freekick which was hit by Petre Odobescu. AS Florilor - BV's Washington Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Brovall in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Wictor Brovall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Washington Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as AS Florilor - BV's Paolo Rumaldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolae Ghiorman. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Poli AEK defense, Paolo Rumaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolae Ghiorman. The Poli AEK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolae Ghiorman should have stopped the shot. Paolo Rumaldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Nicolae Ghiorman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 46th minute Wictor Brovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Zafer Fırat made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Paolo Rumaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nicolae Ghiorman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Silviu Nedelciu made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Ghiorman. Poli AEK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Nicolae Ghiorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vydas Budrys in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Rumaldo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolae Ghiorman saved Poli AEK from getting behind. Wictor Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Nicolae Ghiorman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Rumaldo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Nicolae Ghiorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Cernea in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to AS Florilor - BV getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Emil Cernea hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Poli AEK's Wictor Brovall got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nicolae Ghiorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Rumaldo in the 77th minute of the match. Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Odobescu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Poli AEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Brovall to maneuver through the defense. Nicolae Ghiorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rumaldo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Paolo Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rumaldo in the 91st minute of play forced Poli AEK's goalkeeper Nicolae Ghiorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cordairo Carrasco hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AS Florilor - BV had won after a very even match.
