After 6 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Miner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Minerul Baita -MM- from getting a goal against them. Nistor Maghiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Rumaldo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Minerul Baita -MM- got a corner. AS Florilor - BV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. 16 minutes into the match, Maksymilian Bulkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Proença. AS Florilor - BV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maksymilian Bulkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Minerul Baita -MM-'s Allan Shearer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the match, AS Florilor - BV's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Shearer came free, but Washington Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Rumaldo got free with Nistor Maghiar in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Washington Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Alexe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Paolo Rumaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Maghiar. In the 43rd minute Allan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Allan Shearer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington Proença was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 46th minute Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Rumaldo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by AS Florilor - BV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Minerul Baita -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Ciprian Alexe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Washington Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washington Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Shearer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Dumitrachescu in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes AS Florilor - BV got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Dumitrachescu. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Albino Claude replaced Gordon Miner. In the 72nd match minute, AS Florilor - BV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Dumitrachescu to maneuver through the defense. Allan Shearer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Washington Proença made a huge save. With his leg Washington Proença managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Minerul Baita -MM-'s Allan Shearer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Minerul Baita -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minerul Baita -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
