Aurel Teodoroiu started the match with the kick off. Ionică Bădilescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Maghiran's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. David Bîndean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Odobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Odobescu came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Marian Maghiran notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ionică Bădilescu. Ionică Bădilescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 蔡飞耀 was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Inter Craiova's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Vasile Angelescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ionică Bădilescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蔡飞耀, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Aurel Teodoroiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Bîndean came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurel Teodoroiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Couch in the 45th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Ionică Bădilescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Maghiran made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Aurel Teodoroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bîndean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Craiova's Marian Maghiran got a free kick in the 65th minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ciprian Halipa was substituted for Aurel Teodoroiu. After 76 played minutes, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Viorel Iacobescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Bîndean came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC PIETROSUL -MM- reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Bosioc in the 79th minute of play forced FC Inter Craiova's goalkeeper David Bîndean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Dragoş Dancu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ionică Bădilescu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when 蔡飞耀 sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Ştoia came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
