Izydor Wieloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nistor Maghiar made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Florín Galezu sent off a good shot on target. Izydor Wieloch came out of the goal and Allan Shearer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basarab Curcă kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Maksymilian Bulkiewicz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Allan Shearer made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Maksymilian Bulkiewicz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florín Galezu in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Florín Galezu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Maghiar was relentless in the 64th minute of the game.
