Nazım Taci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Encescu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nazım Taci got free with David Mitu in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petru Cristocea hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Arabesque -MM-'s goalkeeper David Mitu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazım Taci. In the 13th minute, Salih Şahsuvaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Jilăveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Stoicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Jilăveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Prunaru in the 29th minute of the match. Cezar Prunaru took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radu Jilăveanu. Radu Jilăveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Radu Jilăveanu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Arabesque -MM-'s Iacob Stoicescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Stoicescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Benni Farbøl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Mitu was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 43 played minutes Arabesque -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Tătaru. New York Red Bulls's Benni Farbøl shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by David Mitu but with some difficulty. If Emanuel Encescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Arabesque -MM-'s David Mitu got control of the ball when Nazım Taci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

David Mitu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazım Taci, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arabesque -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benni Farbøl was slow to take the kick. During this time New York Red Bulls's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Benni Farbøl got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Mitu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cezar Prunaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Radu Jilăveanu made a huge save. David Mitu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazım Taci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Nazım Taci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, New York Red Bulls's Radu Jilăveanu got control of the ball when Cezar Prunaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Benni Farbøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Mitu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When New York Red Bulls's Benni Farbøl in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New York Red Bulls reached it. After 93 played minutes Arabesque -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Cezar Prunaru. 94 minutes into the match, Arabesque -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Taci came free, but David Mitu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Mitu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benni Farbøl in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arabesque -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
