Continental Buzau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Cărtărescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 29 minutes into the match, Continental Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Queiroz came free, but Radu Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Tiberiu Dulgherescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Jere Ugo Peña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Feteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Trzenzalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Barbălată having to interfere. Radu Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho Queiroz in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radu Barbălată prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radu Barbălată showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Queiroz in the 73rd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Jiang Hong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Emilian Feteanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jiang Hong struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Emilian Feteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Continental Buzau. In the 84th minute Jorginho Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Barbălată saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Trzenzalski in the 86th minute of play forced Continental Buzau's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Politehnica Iasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Cărtărescu in the 88th minute. Continental Buzau's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Dulgherescu in the 91st minute of play. Jorginho Queiroz scored 2-5 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Barbălată, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
