The supporters of FC Delta83 Tulcea booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Cismarescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Lixandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute 傅烽彬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Jilăveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Jilăveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Gugea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Jilăveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 傅烽彬 in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Tufescu in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Delta83 Tulcea's goalkeeper Arminas Kiudulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Delta83 Tulcea's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vali Chivu in the 35th minute. Vali Chivu made a great header on FC Delta83 Tulcea's corner, it was just that New York Red Bulls's Radu Jilăveanu managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, New York Red Bulls's Radu Jilăveanu got control of the ball when 傅烽彬 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th play minute 傅烽彬 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Radu Jilăveanu. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nazım Taci was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Rayman in the 52nd minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, 傅烽彬 made a precise shot to the right of Radu Jilăveanu. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Radu Jilăveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Lixandru, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, 傅烽彬 notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Radu Jilăveanu. Radu Jilăveanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to New York Red Bulls getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Maxim Tadici hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Rayman in the 70th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Emanuel Encescu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New York Red Bulls's protests and gave Emanuel Encescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Encescu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Rayman in the 74th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Gugea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Jilăveanu having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nazım Taci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arminas Kiudulas. That made the score 6-1 in the 79 minute of play. Aurel Cârlan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Delta83 Tulcea getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ziemowit Olchowy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Rayman in the 86th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Damian Gugea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radu Jilăveanu. New York Red Bulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Gugea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. In the 93rd minute Aurel Cârlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Jilăveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Cârlan took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radu Jilăveanu. Radu Jilăveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. When the referee ended the match the FC Delta83 Tulcea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
