In the 17th minute, Ferdinand Petran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Emil Gabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 defense, Gino Galante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Gabor. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Nils Helberg was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Emil Gabor got control of the ball when Ubarna Harroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cyprian Karp's late challenge caught a ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The corner ended in Ole-Petter Korsvik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Owls's Jan-Åke Emander did a great save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Owls walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
