Alexandru Tudorică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Enescu having to interfere. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Manole Frunză sped through Arabesque -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calistrat Enescu. Calistrat Enescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shen Xi Bang, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Alexandru Tudorică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Enescu having to interfere. If Shen Xi Bang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Manole Frunză mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovine Craiova and the Arabesque -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manole Frunză hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Stoicescu in the 18th minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Oscar Caballero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rovine Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezar Prunaru got free with Victor Negara in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Stoicescu in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Iacob Stoicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Negara was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Manole Frunză ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calistrat Enescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jyrki Saarelainen in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Enescu saved Arabesque -MM- from getting behind. After the first half Rovine Craiova were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iacob Stoicescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Shen Xi Bang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Calistrat Enescu. That made the score 0-5 in the 51 minute of play. Manole Frunză sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Caballero struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Calistrat Enescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rovine Craiova. In the 70th minute, Manole Frunză reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calistrat Enescu. The goal made the score 0-9. Jyrki Saarelainen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Calistrat Enescu made a huge save. Arabesque -MM-'s Calistrat Enescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Frunză in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Frunză in the 76th minute of play forced Arabesque -MM-'s goalkeeper Calistrat Enescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Enescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandru Tudorică in the 82nd minute. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Stoicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 90 minutes on the clock, Victor Arosculesei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arabesque -MM-!
