Emanuel Encescu came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Ghimiș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Emanuel Encescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Petran went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Emanuel Encescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the New York Red Bulls defense, Lucrețiu Ghimiș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Encescu. The New York Red Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Encescu should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Vărzaru came free, but Emanuel Encescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Ghimiș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucrețiu Ghimiș took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Encescu. Emanuel Encescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Emanuel Encescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31st play minutes Lucrețiu Ghimiș shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Emanuel Encescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Emanuel Encescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 41 minutes into the match, Basarab Vărzaru notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Emanuel Encescu. Emanuel Encescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Cristinel Alamaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucrețiu Ghimiș made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Ghimiș lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Emanuel Encescu. After 56 played minutes Basarab Vărzaru rounded New York Red Bulls's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. Emanuel Encescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Basarab Vărzaru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 60 minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Encescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Encescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. In the 69th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Encescu. The goal made the score 0-14. The supporters of New York Red Bulls booed when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Helberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Coporan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, New York Red Bulls's Ştefan Coporan got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Encescu. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. 78 minutes into the game, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nils Helberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Encescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-16. The crowd rose to their feet as Basarab Vărzaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Encescu. That made the score 0-17 in the 81 minute of play. Ionuț Balc made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cazimir Tufescu however managed to control. Emanuel Encescu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Ghimiș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. With a little luck, New York Red Bulls's Emanuel Encescu got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Ghimiș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandu Condeescu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Emanuel Encescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007.
