Radu Jilăveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bianco Cappucci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Encescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, Basarab Vărzaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Encescu came out of the goal and Basarab Vărzaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, New York Red Bulls's Emanuel Encescu got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Ghimiș tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ghimiș notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Emanuel Encescu. Emanuel Encescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucrețiu Ghimiș succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 23rd playminute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Emanuel Encescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Necșulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Encescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucrețiu Ghimiș showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 29 minute of play. Basarab Vărzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Encescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Encescu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a good shot on target. Lucrețiu Ghimiș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Encescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucrețiu Ghimiș slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Basarab Vărzaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Encescu. The goal made the score 8-0. Lucrețiu Ghimiș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Encescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucrețiu Ghimiș slotted it home off the left post making it 9-0 in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Basarab Vărzaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Vărzaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Encescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute of the game Maxim Necșulescu made a throw-in which Ionuț Balc played forward. Basarab Vărzaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Encescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basarab Vărzaru ran back to his position shaking his head. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Gică Popescu was substituted for Eliodor Gheban. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nazım Taci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucrețiu Ghimiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Ionuț Balc with Berkan Temel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emanuel Encescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Ole-Petter Korsvik was substituted for Adrián Frick. In the 81st minute, Basarab Vărzaru made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Encescu. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. In the 86th minute Lucrețiu Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Encescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Ghimiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Emanuel Encescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucrețiu Ghimiș struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Emanuel Encescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007. Basarab Vărzaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 100 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Encescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
