When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Marian Racoviceanu sped through Politehnica Iasi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emilian Feteanu. Danny-Rafael Junior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Trzenzalski in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Racoviceanu in the 21st minute of play forced Politehnica Iasi's goalkeeper Emilian Feteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emilian Feteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Racoviceanu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Jan Trzenzalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny-Rafael Junior was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half ФСК Буковина ★DAC★ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Racoviceanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marian Racoviceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s zone, Jan Trzenzalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny-Rafael Junior came out of the goal and Jan Trzenzalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danny-Rafael Junior came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Politehnica Iasi's Jan Trzenzalski. But to his dismay, Jan Trzenzalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Danny-Rafael Junior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Trzenzalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calistrat Ciocârlan in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilian Feteanu saved Politehnica Iasi from getting behind. Danny-Rafael Junior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Trzenzalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Emilian Feteanu managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s Erik Paaske fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute, one of Politehnica Iasi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Politehnica Iasi. Marian Racoviceanu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. ФСК Буковина ★DAC★ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Politehnica Iasi to leave the ground with a draw.
