Spectators: 8400 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celedonio Rayman got the match started through his kick off. Horea Mercescu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Delta83 Tulcea's 傅烽彬. But to his dismay, 傅烽彬 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Rayman came free, but Horea Mercescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Celedonio Rayman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Mercescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Horea Mercescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 傅烽彬's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Horea Mercescu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Delta83 Tulcea's Celedonio Rayman. But to his dismay, Celedonio Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Horea Mercescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Gugea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Mercescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ziemowit Olchowy went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Damian Gugea sped through New York Red Bulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Mercescu. Horea Mercescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Rayman in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, FC Delta83 Tulcea's Celedonio Rayman made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Mercescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horea Mercescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Gugea in the 36th minute of the match. Horea Mercescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Rayman in the 37th minute of the match. Horea Mercescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Măgherușan in the 40th minute of the match. Horea Mercescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 傅烽彬, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. New York Red Bulls's Horea Mercescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅烽彬 in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Celedonio Rayman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New York Red Bulls's Horea Mercescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 傅烽彬 took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Mercescu. Horea Mercescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Săvescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 傅烽彬 might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Mercescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 傅烽彬 ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅烽彬 in the 55th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Horea Mercescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horea Mercescu was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Ziemowit Olchowy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ziemowit Olchowy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 63 minutes into the game, Margus Valt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horea Mercescu. Margus Valt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. FC Delta83 Tulcea made a substitution. Aurel Cârlan replaced 傅烽彬. In the 67th minute, Narcis Miclauș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Mercescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. 74 minutes into the match, Celedonio Rayman notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Horea Mercescu. Horea Mercescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 81 minutes, Damian Gugea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Delta83 Tulcea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Gugea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, New York Red Bulls's Horea Mercescu got control of the ball when Celedonio Rayman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Damian Gugea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horea Mercescu, 0-13. Horea Mercescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Pasaribu in the 89th minute of play. After 89 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Alamaru. 90 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Gugea came free, but Horea Mercescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Măgherușan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 91st playminute. When Celedonio Rayman came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Delta83 Tulcea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Rayman couldn't finish the play. Damian Gugea in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Horea Mercescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Delta83 Tulcea played a much better game than New York Red Bulls and deserved their victory. The New York Red Bulls players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
