Jan-Åke Emander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Anton went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nistor Anton struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jan-Åke Emander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. In the 40thth minute of the game Gino Galante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purcaresti CSS's Cătălin Trică was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Pavel Mazăre got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Gino Galante came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the The Owls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino Galante couldn't finish the play. The Owls's Jan-Åke Emander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Radovan in the 77th minute of play. When William Creemers fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Owls's protests and gave William Creemers a yellow card for diving instead. William Creemers kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Gino Galante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Owls's Gino Galante got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Cătălin Trică got control of the ball when Ubarna Harroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Owls's William Creemers got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered William Creemers off the ground.
