Anton Munteanu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Iustin Radovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nistor Anton sped through Politehnica Iasi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emilian Feteanu. With an all-out effort, Purcaresti CSS's Emilian Feteanu threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iustin Radovan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, Iustin Radovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Purcaresti CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Trzenzalski came free, but Cătălin Trică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Trzenzalski in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Trică prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Politehnica Iasi's Emilian Feteanu got control of the ball when Nistor Anton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilian Feteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Mazăre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Gică Zbârcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jan Trzenzalski put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cătălin Trică. In the 36th play minute Nistor Anton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilian Feteanu. 4-1. In the 55th minute, Nistor Anton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilian Feteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Trzenzalski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cătălin Trică. That made the score 5-2 in the 58 minute of play. Emilian Feteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Radovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilian Feteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Radovan in the 63rd minute of the match. Cătălin Trică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Trzenzalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute of the match, Jan Trzenzalski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cătălin Trică saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 76 minutes, Nistor Anton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purcaresti CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Anton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cătălin Trică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Trzenzalski in the 78th minute of play. Cătălin Trică came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Politehnica Iasi's Jan Trzenzalski. But to his dismay, Jan Trzenzalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Gabriel Măliță hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Purcaresti CSS defense, Jan Trzenzalski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Trică. The Purcaresti CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Trică should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute of the match, Jan Trzenzalski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cătălin Trică saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emilian Feteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Radovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Emilian Feteanu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Purcaresti CSS's Iustin Radovan. But to his dismay, Iustin Radovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Purcaresti CSS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Politehnica Iasi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
