Spectators: 8519 (Terracing: 6390, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 170) Elfii's Vintilă Bădulescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Vintilă Bădulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Vintilă Bădulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Moron was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Chirculescu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciprian Siteavu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Peker Suersan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elfii's supporters rose to their feet, but Peker Suersan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Moron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16thth minute of the game Vintilă Bădulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balaceanu UFC's Daniel Moron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Balaceanu UFC defense, Vali Barbăsură kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Moron. The Balaceanu UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Moron should have stopped the shot. Dragoş Vâtcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Siteavu having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Elfii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Gigel Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Siteavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Moron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Bădulescu in the 35th minute of the match. Vintilă Bădulescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Moron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Balaceanu UFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gigel Chirculescu hit a great ball. Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Barbăsură, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 minutes Balaceanu UFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peker Suersan who took care of the corner kick. Elfii's Peker Suersan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Moron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ciprian Siteavu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Vâtcu in the 51st minute of play. Balaceanu UFC's Daniel Moron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Bădulescu in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Balaceanu UFC's zone, Vali Barbăsură stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Moron came out of the goal and Vali Barbăsură tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Elfii got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Martxel. 78 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's Dragoş Vâtcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciprian Siteavu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miguel Hernánde Delzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciprian Siteavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Burdujan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elfii's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dumitru Chiriacescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Balaceanu UFC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Barbăsură in the 86th minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Daniel Moron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
