When Trifon Ivanov fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emerald's protests and gave Trifon Ivanov a yellow card for diving instead. 8 minutes into the match, Prevaleni CS-BTF's goalkeeper Xu Yao Feng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Druga. Declan Rice kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Victor Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prevaleni CS-BTF's Xu Yao Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Uncheşelu in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Lazlo Masciolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 21st minute of play forced Prevaleni CS-BTF's goalkeeper Xu Yao Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes Prevaleni CS-BTF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pompiliu Uncheşelu who took care of the corner kick. Emerald's Pompiliu Uncheşelu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xu Yao Feng in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adam Druga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Xu Yao Feng made a huge save. In the 31st minute Emerald were awarded a corner. Pompiliu Uncheşelu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Emerald's Pompiliu Uncheşelu to fire away a dangerous shot which Xu Yao Feng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adam Druga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Xu Yao Feng made a huge save. Sandu Alungulesei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Enegren's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Pompiliu Uncheşelu took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xu Yao Feng. Xu Yao Feng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sandu Alungulesei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Miniș, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Xu Yao Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Druga in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Gong Shu Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nae Miniș made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Prevaleni CS-BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Druga came free, but Xu Yao Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Prevaleni CS-BTF defense, Adam Druga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xu Yao Feng. The Prevaleni CS-BTF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xu Yao Feng should have stopped the shot. Xu Yao Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralph Featherson got free with Sandu Alungulesei in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prevaleni CS-BTF's Ralph Featherson got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narcis Bociort's late challenge caught a Emerald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Bociort helped the player get up and apologised. Narcis Bociort kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Pompiliu Uncheşelu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xu Yao Feng having to make a save. Sandu Goșa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Emerald's goalkeeper Sandu Alungulesei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nae Miniș. In the 75th minute Emerald were awarded a corner. Pompiliu Uncheşelu went to the cornerflag to take it. Emerald's Pompiliu Uncheşelu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xu Yao Feng in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 86 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Uncheşelu. 91 minutes into the match, Prevaleni CS-BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Druga came free, but Xu Yao Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Dumitru Răchitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Prevaleni CS-BTF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dumitru Răchitan hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Emerald players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
