Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Cetatea Suceava from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute Dinu Bocu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Agusoaei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Balavanis getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Codrin Donciu hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Eriberto Filipo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionuț Agusoaei skillfully saved the ball. Ionuț Agusoaei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Filipo in the 18th minute of play. Alf Tanner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Aldulescu having to interfere. Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cetatea Suceava from getting a goal against them. Ionuț Agusoaei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Bocu in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Barascu in the 23rd minute of play forced Cetatea Suceava's goalkeeper Liviu Aldulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alf Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balavanis's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Tanner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Aldulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Stroie took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionuț Agusoaei. Ionuț Agusoaei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Balavanis getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alf Tanner hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Emil Poalelungi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionuț Agusoaei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 39 played minutes Balavanis got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Şoiman. Alf Tanner kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Eriberto Filipo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionuț Agusoaei skillfully saved the ball. Avram Barascu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Liviu Aldulescu made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Cetatea Suceava's Dinu Bocu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionuț Agusoaei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cetatea Suceava booed when Balavanis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Gorgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Cetatea Suceava's Emil Poalelungi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ionuț Agusoaei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cetatea Suceava reached it. The Balavanis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cetatea Suceava were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Grigore Şoiman made the kick off in the second half. Liviu Aldulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Şoiman in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Bocu in the 57th minute of play forced Balavanis's goalkeeper Ionuț Agusoaei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Grigore Şoiman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Stroie in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionuț Agusoaei saved Balavanis from getting behind. If Emil Bălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cetatea Suceava's Claudinei Barral was substituted for Dinu Bocu. Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Tanner in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Balavanis's Ionuț Agusoaei got control of the ball when Cristian Elian tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Balavanis booed when Cetatea Suceava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liviu Aldulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Tanner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Alf Tanner notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu. Liviu Aldulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cetatea Suceava's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
