The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustaf Törnqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liviu Aldulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Lucado in the 7th minute. Davide Festa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Isac Murgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Cetatea Suceava's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Törnqvist came free, but Liviu Aldulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Gustaf Törnqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Aldulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Festa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Cetatea Suceava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Bălan to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Gustaf Törnqvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu. Liviu Aldulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Murgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davide Festa went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Lucado to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cetatea Suceava's zone, Teofilo Lucado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Aldulescu came out of the goal and Teofilo Lucado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Aldulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Lucado's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Liviu Aldulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Teofilo Lucado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liviu Aldulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Liviu Aldulescu had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Gustaf Törnqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zula Dziura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Aldulescu having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Cetatea Suceava's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Dziura came free, but Liviu Aldulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
