Eugeniusz Mochowak hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Emil Nicoliță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Saltuk Erva made a huge save. After 5 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Drew Zaelani. The long shot by Emil Nicoliță in the 6th minute really tested Saltuk Erva's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 8 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Mochowak. After recieving a nice pass, Olympique de Marseille's Emil Nicoliță tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Radu Nebunu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Olympique de Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Roșeanu came free, but Bogdan Crivoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Berkin Güdü came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Scorpions -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkin Güdü couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gică Popescu. In the 20th minute of the match Pavel Ponta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saltuk Erva skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpions -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique de Marseille the free kick. The supporters of Olympique de Marseille booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Horaţiu Lupșe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique de Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 29 minutes of play, Olympique de Marseille's Cosmin Florea made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saltuk Erva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogdan Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Numan Tanuğur in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Acosta to maneuver through the defense. Saltuk Erva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Feteanu in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Olympique de Marseille booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Mochowak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Numan Tanuğur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Saltuk Erva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Lupșe.

Scorpions -MM-'s Saltuk Erva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Florea in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Olympique de Marseille's Cosmin Florea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saltuk Erva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some careless play in the Scorpions -MM- defense, Cosmin Florea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saltuk Erva. The Scorpions -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saltuk Erva should have stopped the shot. Saltuk Erva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Lupșe in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique de Marseille's goalkeeper Bogdan Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Olympique de Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Numan Tanuğur came free, but Bogdan Crivoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scorpions -MM-'s Saltuk Erva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Lupșe in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Luca Feteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saltuk Erva. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Feteanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Scorpions -MM-'s Sergiu Golescu was substituted for Gelu Roșeanu. Sergiu Golescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bogdan Crivoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique de Marseille's goalkeeper Bogdan Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saltuk Erva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Feteanu's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Gică Popescu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eugeniusz Mochowak hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Luca Feteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saltuk Erva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olympique de Marseille fans cheered their team off the field, for while Scorpions -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
