The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Mihalcea. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. James Novak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Breogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Yenal Tanır kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Novak. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Osvaldinho Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but James Novak made a huge save. FC Carlsberg's James Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Breogan in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorio Breogan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Novak. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Wieslaw Marud managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Carlsberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Wieslaw Marud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Gazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Carlsberg's Remus Costeiantu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristinel Mihalcea, made in the 41st minute of the game. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Marud in the 42nd minute of play. James Novak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Breogan in the 43rd minute. James Novak was a little too slow when Victorio Breogan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Breogan was the one to do the kick off. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Marud in the 54th minute of play. James Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yenal Tanır in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Carlsberg defense, Yenal Tanır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of James Novak. The FC Carlsberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that James Novak should have stopped the shot. Victorio Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yenal Tanır in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Carlsberg's goalkeeper James Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Breogan in the 68th minute of play. When Osvaldinho Messias came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Juventus PTM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Messias couldn't finish the play. FC Carlsberg's Adrían Addi was substituted for Aurelian Mirciu. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Carlsberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vidar Albäck was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventus PTM's players had a chance to rest. Armando Gazza made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Adrían Addi sent off a good shot on target. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Messias in the 83rd minute of play. When Ferdinand Honcioiu got free in front of the goal in the 83rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. James Novak was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Messias in the 85th minute of play forced FC Carlsberg's goalkeeper James Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Carlsberg's James Novak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Carlsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Honcioiu came free, but James Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Viorel Neicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juventus PTM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
