Spectators: 9333 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 2148, VIP seats: 185) After 4 played minutes Mîndresti UFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Nazaria. 6 minutes into the match, Mîndresti UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pârlea came free, but Grigore Curcã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruslan Posticã during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Truseni's Dorel Cretu was substituted for Tudor Buga. Ruslan Posticã hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. FC Truseni's Leonid Nazaria got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, FC Truseni's Mihail Postolache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigore Curcã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mîndresti UFC's goalkeeper Grigore Curcã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mîndresti UFC's Grigore Curcã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Nazaria in the 20th minute of play. Grigore Curcã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Cornea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anatolie Urmasu's late challenge caught a FC Truseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anatolie Urmasu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when Mîndresti UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatolie Urmasu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Mihail Postolache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Curcã was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Grigore Curcã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Nazaria in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Mîndresti UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruslan Posticã to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mîndresti UFC's zone, Leonid Nazaria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Curcã came out of the goal and Leonid Nazaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mîndresti UFC's Grigore Curcã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Postolache in the 32nd minute of play. Valentin Nazaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Mihail Postolache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Truseni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Mihail Postolache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Curcã. Mîndresti UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihail Postolache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruslan Posticã to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Alexei Jereghi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Leonid Nazaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grigore Curcã having to make a save. Mîndresti UFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Mihail Postolache scored to the left of an out of position Grigore Curcã, making the score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Mîndresti UFC defense, Leonid Nazaria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Curcã. The Mîndresti UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Curcã should have stopped the shot. When FC Truseni's Leonid Nazaria in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mîndresti UFC's goalie prevented a goal. Grigore Curcã came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Truseni's Mihail Postolache. But to his dismay, Mihail Postolache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Anibal Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Posticã, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Truseni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mîndresti UFC.
