The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mavian UFC's Ion Cârlig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Mavian UFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Postolache in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Cârlig saved Mavian UFC from getting behind. FC Truseni's Mircea Dadu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes Mavian UFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Pârlea who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Mavian UFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Truseni:s goal. In the 23rd minute, Mihail Postolache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ion Cârlig. The goal made the score 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Mihail Postolache lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Ion Cârlig. Mihail Postolache had several of the Mavian UFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Ion Cârlig as he didn't even see the shot coming. 45 minutes into the match, Mavian UFC's goalkeeper Ion Cârlig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Postolache.

The audience was convinced that Mihail Postolache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ion Cârlig was relentless in the 51st minute of the game.
