Dacia's Bruno Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Dacia from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Dacia defense, Cristian Pârlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Astigar. The Dacia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Astigar should have stopped the shot. Bruno Astigar was a little too slow when Iosif Creangã got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. Bruno Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tabãrã in the 14th minute of play. FC Truseni's Florin Burduja suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sergiu Dobândã charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Dobândã the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Truseni made a substitution. Ilie Purice replaced Florin Burduja. In the 16th match minute, Dacia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Dobândã to maneuver through the defense. Viorel Bunea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simion Luncasu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cristian Pârlea took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Astigar. Bruno Astigar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 25th minute, Iosif Creangã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, FC Truseni's Mihail Postolache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Astigar. Bruno Astigar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 30 minutes into the match, Dacia's goalkeeper Bruno Astigar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iosif Creangã. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Pârlea in the 34th minute of play forced Dacia's goalkeeper Bruno Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dacia's Cristian Cãldare got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Dacia's goalkeeper Bruno Astigar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Postolache. Andrei Brãgutã kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigore Vrânceanu to make the kick off. Viorel Bunea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Brãgutã in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, FC Truseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Purice to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ilie Purice hit a great ball. Mihail Postolache struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bruno Astigar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Truseni. In the 63rd minute Iosif Creangã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Cristian Pârlea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Truseni! In the 78th minute, Ilie Purice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Truseni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Truseni had played much better football throughout.
