Spectators: 9121 (Terracing: 6897, Seating: 2062, VIP seats: 162) Aurel Barbăneagră took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosif Delinschi. Iosif Delinschi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match, David Beckham got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iosif Delinschi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Virgiliu Pricop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Virgiliu Pricop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Prutean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, FC Chișinău's Ion Creangă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iosif Delinschi. Iosif Delinschi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Nisporeni's Tudor Filip sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tudor Prutean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iosif Delinschi made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Beckham in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Nisporeni's Cornel Musteatã got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Emilian Pricop sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iosif Delinschi skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute, Denis Pãcuraru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Virgiliu Pricop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nisporeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgiliu Pricop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandu Botu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Nisporeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Botu to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Emilian Pricop in the 31st minute really tested Iosif Delinschi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Nisporeni's goalkeeper Iosif Delinschi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Barbăneagră. Aurel Barbăneagră received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Iosif Delinschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, David Beckham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iosif Delinschi. David Beckham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Iosif Delinschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Creangă in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Nisporeni's goalkeeper Iosif Delinschi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Beckham. After a defensive mix-up in Nisporeni's zone, David Beckham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Delinschi came out of the goal and David Beckham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Beckham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Iosif Delinschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Aurel Bâtcã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgiliu Pricop was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, David Beckham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Iosif Delinschi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Aurel Barbăneagră had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Delinschi. Nisporeni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Barbăneagră was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Virgiliu Pricop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Prutean having to interfere. Iosif Delinschi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Beckham went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Virgiliu Pricop hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Iosif Delinschi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Beckham's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Nisporeni got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Dobândã. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chișinău's zone, Aurel Bâtcã stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Prutean came out of the goal and Aurel Bâtcã tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Virgiliu Pricop dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tudor Prutean, 6-1. Iosif Delinschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Beckham in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Nisporeni's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Barbăneagră came free, but Iosif Delinschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgiliu Pricop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Prutean having to interfere. If Virgiliu Pricop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the FC Chișinău players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
