Iosif Cociu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Iosif Cociu put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Nicolaevca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dacia:s goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Simion Luncasu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nicolaevca's Bogdan Cercel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Valera Casu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dacia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valera Casu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bogdan Cercel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Vrânceanu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Dacia's Bruno Astigar got control of the ball when Mihai Bumbac tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Nicolaevca's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Vrânceanu came free, but Bogdan Cercel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grigore Vrânceanu was the one to do the kick off. Dacia were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Nicolaevca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marius Platon took the corner. Simion Luncasu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bogdan Cercel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marius Platon. The audience was convinced that Grigore Vrânceanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Cercel was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Bogdan Cercel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simion Luncasu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Nicolaevca's Gicu Plesca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Astigar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the last second Bogdan Cercel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Simion Luncasu in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With an all-out effort, Dacia's Bogdan Cercel threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simion Luncasu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Astigar came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nicolaevca's Gicu Plesca. But to his dismay, Gicu Plesca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bogdan Cercel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simion Luncasu in the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Nicolaevca's goal looked a bit too open when Simion Luncasu came free, but Bogdan Cercel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nicolaevca getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gicu Plesca hit a great ball. Bogdan Cercel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marius Platon. Simion Luncasu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolaevca's Bogdan Cercel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simion Luncasu in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Dacia were awarded a corner. Marius Platon went to the cornerflag to take it. Nicolaevca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
