Spectators: 9211 (Terracing: 6910, Seating: 2118, VIP seats: 183) FC Salcuta's Ion Urmasu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Ion Urmasu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Salcuta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavian UFC the free kick. Ion Cazacu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Buga in the 7th minute. Ion Cazacu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciprian Prepelitã's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Mavian UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Posticã to maneuver through the defense. If Bogdan Buga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Liviu Medelean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Salcuta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavian UFC the free kick. Liviu Medelean kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Bogdan Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Cazacu having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Ion Cazacu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Denis Caraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ion Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Mavian UFC's Ciprian Prepelitã ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ion Cazacu. Ion Cazacu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Pricop in the 39th minute of play forced Mavian UFC's goalkeeper Rudi Jonker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bogdan Buga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Salcuta's zone, Ciprian Prepelitã stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Cazacu came out of the goal and Ciprian Prepelitã tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogdan Buga to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bogdan Buga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavian UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Buga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Cazacu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Ciprian Prepelitã ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ion Cazacu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ciprian Prepelitã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ion Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Bogdan Buga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mavian UFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 65 minutes into the game, Dan Carp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Salcuta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavian UFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Salcuta's Dan Carp got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ion Cazacu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Prepelitã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Octavian Agapie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Salcuta and the Mavian UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Salcuta! Dan Carp hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, FC Salcuta's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Caraman came free, but Ion Cazacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Buga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mavian UFC booed when FC Salcuta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Cecan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Ciprian Prepelitã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Cazacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Salcuta getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Anatolie Pârlea hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Mavian UFC were the better team. Mavian UFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
