Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aurel Barbăneagră made the kick off which started today's match. Aurel Barbăneagră took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihail Doga. Mihail Doga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Emil Damian took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tudor Prutean to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodor Arnãut kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tudor Prutean. That made the score 2-1 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute, David Beckham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodor Arnãut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tudor Prutean made a huge save. If David Beckham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Aurel Barbăneagră had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihail Doga. Cimislia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Barbăneagră was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A collision led to Cimislia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cristian Tâmbalari hit a great ball. FC Chișinău's Aurel Barbăneagră got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tudor Prutean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihail Doga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Beckham in the 38th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Eugen Speianu put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Cimislia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eugen Speianu hit a great ball. Teodor Arnãut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Prutean having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Arnãut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tudor Prutean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Arnãut's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Ion Creangă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Ruslan Buruianã mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cimislia and the FC Chișinău players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Cimislia got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Buruianã. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorel Delinschi during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Teodor Arnãut came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cimislia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Arnãut couldn't finish the play. Teodor Arnãut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tudor Prutean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Prutean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Arnãut in the 66th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilian Pricop kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihail Doga. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. David Beckhams short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Mihail Doga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teodor Arnãut might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tudor Prutean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Arnãut ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Emil Damian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cimislia's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Damian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Prutean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chișinău's zone, Teodor Arnãut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Prutean came out of the goal and Teodor Arnãut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Ruslan Buruianã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes of play, FC Chișinău's Aurel Barbăneagră made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihail Doga was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Chișinău's Tudor Prutean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Damian in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Chișinău walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
