The Cimislia fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Cimislia's Teodor Arnãut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 9 minutes into the match, FC Salcuta's goal looked a bit too open when Ruslan Buruianã came free, but Ion Cazacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ion Cazacu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Arnãut, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ion Cazacu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Damian went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eugen Speianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Emil Damian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ion Cazacu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodor Arnãut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Cazacu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Salcuta's Dan Carp got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Ruslan Buruianã came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cimislia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruslan Buruianã couldn't finish the play. Ion Cazacu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Arnãut's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Eugen Speianu sped through FC Salcuta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ion Cazacu. Adrian Macovei hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Salcuta's Sergiu Pricop slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihail Doga. That made the score 1-4 after 39 minutes of play. Mihail Doga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Pricop, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Pricop was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Teodor Arnãut from a close distance when the talented Ion Cazacu managed to make a qualified save. FC Salcuta's players were relieved. Emil Damian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ion Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Tâmbalari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Cazacu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Damian, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Dan Carp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cimislia booed when FC Salcuta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Carp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruslan Buruianã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodor Arnãut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ion Cazacu made a huge save. Ion Cazacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Damian in the 84th minute of the match. Ruslan Buruianã's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ion Cazacu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Teodor Arnãut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Ion Cazacu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 92 played minutes FC Salcuta got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Medelean. When the match was over Cimislia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Salcuta throughout the match.
