Molovata CSF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgiliu Fratea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Vladimir Plugaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 46 minutes on the clock, Radu Apostol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Molovata CSF! After the first half FC Haiduc Bumbata were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
