The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anton Cãpraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Volontir in the 3rd minute of the match. If Stefan Iordan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Afteni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Burduja, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Viorel Tabãrã came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Afteni could save by the left post. Nicolaevca CSF's Emil Afteni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Nicolaevca CSF from getting a goal against them. Emil Afteni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viorel Tabãrã in the 18th minute. Viorel Tabãrã came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Afteni could save by the left post. 19 minutes into the game, FC Rapid Bucuresti's Viorel Tabãrã nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Afteni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Emil Afteni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Tabãrã in the 22nd minute of play. Nicolaevca CSF's Emil Afteni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Nicolaevca CSF from getting a goal against them. Emil Afteni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Triboi went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Viorel Tabãrã reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emil Afteni. The goal made the score 3-0. 33 minutes into the match, Nicolaevca CSF's goalkeeper Emil Afteni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viorel Tabãrã. Mihail Volontir took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Cãpraru. Anton Cãpraru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Sergiu Stegaru took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Emil Afteni to make any attempt to save it. When Stefan Iordan came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Nicolaevca CSF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Iordan couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Iordan to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Nichifor Vornic notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Nicolaevca CSF's Emil Afteni. Emil Afteni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vlad Untilã scored 5-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Cãpraru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Afteni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Triboi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ovidiu Stângã kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Florin Triboi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Viorel Tabãrã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Afteni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolaevca CSF's Emil Afteni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Triboi in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Nicolaevca CSF's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Triboi came free, but Emil Afteni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Florin Triboi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Afteni was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. Marius Burduja kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Rapid Bucuresti fully deserved thier win.
