Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florin Triboi made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Dan Afteni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Cãpraru. Dan Afteni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Santos FC Moldova's Iosif Castravet shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anton Cãpraru but with some difficulty. Anton Cãpraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Griceanu in the 16th minute of the match. Dan Afteni was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Santos FC Moldova's Ciprian Pricop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Triboi in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Triboi in the 29th minute of play forced Santos FC Moldova's goalkeeper Ciprian Pricop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Ciocan in the 30th minute of play forced FC Rapid Bucuresti's goalkeeper Anton Cãpraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Afteni struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Anton Cãpraru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC Moldova. Anton Cãpraru was a little too slow when Sandu Ciocan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 38th match minute, Santos FC Moldova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Tâbuleac to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Florin Triboi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Pricop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Sandu Ciocan made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, FC Rapid Bucuresti's Nichifor Vornic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Ciprian Pricop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Vornic in the 56th minute of the match. FC Rapid Bucuresti's Anton Cãpraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Griceanu in the 59th minute of play. Emil Griceanu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ciprian Pricop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Tabãrã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciprian Pricop was a little too slow when Florin Triboi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 4-2. 71 minutes into the match, FC Rapid Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Ciocan came free, but Anton Cãpraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Triboi made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nichifor Vornic however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nichifor Vornic managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rapid Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Vornic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Pricop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos FC Moldova's Ciprian Pricop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Santos FC Moldova from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Sandu Ciocan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Cãpraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Ciocan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Radu Postolache put in a rough tackle. In the 87th minute, one of Santos FC Moldova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santos FC Moldova. The goalkeeper, Ciprian Pricop, was totally fooled by FC Rapid Bucuresti's Dorin Cepoi, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ciprian Pricop made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Triboi in the 93rd minute. Santos FC Moldova's Ciprian Pricop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Vornic in the 98th minute of play. FC Rapid Bucuresti's Florin Triboi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 100th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
