Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sandu Ciocan kicked off to start the match. Eduard Vartic scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Pricop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Vartic got free with Ciprian Pricop in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Neculaieni's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Afteni came free, but Iulian Iordan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iurie Damaschin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Santos FC Moldova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Damaschin couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Izmanã fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Pricop having to interfere. Lilian Apostol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Pricop having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Eduard Vartic got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 32 played minutes Santos FC Moldova got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Castravet. 36 minutes into the match, Santos FC Moldova's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Izmanã came free, but Ciprian Pricop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Griceanu took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iulian Iordan. Iulian Iordan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Santos FC Moldova's Emil Griceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iulian Iordan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Ciocan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Vartic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Pricop having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Izmanã made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Eduard Vartic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neculaieni's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Vartic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Pricop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Neculaieni's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Ciocan came free, but Iulian Iordan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Santos FC Moldova's Dan Afteni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iulian Iordan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Iulian Iordan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Ciocan in the 62nd minute of play. Iulian Iordan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Ciocan in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Neculaieni getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lilian Apostol hit a great ball. Dan Afteni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Iordan made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Dan Afteni sent off a good shot on target. Iulian Iordan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Griceanu in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Dan Afteni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iulian Iordan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 83 minutes into the match, Sandu Ciocan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iulian Iordan, 2-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandu Ciocan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iulian Iordan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduard Vartic took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Pricop. Ciprian Pricop dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Eduard Vartic charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Vartic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Neculaieni getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eduard Vartic hit a great ball. Neculaieni's Iulian Iordan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Ciocan in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Santos FC Moldova could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Neculaieni throughout the match.
