Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedikts Ritovs, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Feliks Brkan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Tilza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Žanis Vestermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Benedikts Ritovs made a huge save. After 56 minutes of play, Tilza's Žanis Vestermans made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renkaviceuka's Benedikts Ritovs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Žanis Vestermans in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Severīns Tilts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renkaviceuka and the Tilza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tilza's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
