In the 25th match minute, FC Fenerbache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laimnesis Klebers to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game Benedikts Dāvids who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fenerbache's Alfons Lagerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dāvids Rudais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauris Rupucis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Margots Lejs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laidciems's supporters rose to their feet, but Margots Lejs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Lagerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfons Lagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Margots Lejs in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Margots Lejs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Lagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Laidciems was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aivis Pušķeiris to maneuver through the defense. Dāvids Rudais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After a rather tough play, Laidciems's Aivis Pušķeiris got a free kick in the 53rd minute. FC Fenerbache's Alfons Lagerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Fenerbache from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Margots Lejs in the 64th minute of play forced FC Fenerbache's goalkeeper Alfons Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Laidciems defense, Dāvids Rudais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauris Rupucis. The Laidciems fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauris Rupucis should have stopped the shot. When Mintauts Markulis came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Laidciems fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mintauts Markulis couldn't finish the play. Alfons Lagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Margots Lejs in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Laimnesis Klebers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedikts Dāvids's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Alfons Lagerberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 81 played minutes FC Fenerbache got a freekick which was hit by Tālavs Dīkstāvis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Margots Lejs in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Fenerbache's goalkeeper Alfons Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Benedikts Dāvids left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laidciems fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Edgars Dancotājs kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Laidciems booed when FC Fenerbache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izidors Sakels didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Aivis Pušķeiris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Lagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Laidciems eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
